Jonny Batman Halloween

Here is my Jonny boy. He has been wearing this costume for at least a month and is still asking where it is. (I put it away yesterday because he has worn it everyday since I got it out the end of Sept.) He has a hard time staying dressed, but I can keep him fully clothed if I let him wear bat man. At this point I think I'm ready for the battle just so i don't have to see that costume for a while.
Jonny doesn't like to stay still for much, this picture provides a great example of that.
We have been worried about Jonny for a long time, and discovered that he has a lot of Autistic traits. We have had to do a lot and wait longer than we hoped to finally get him tested but it is finally done and now we are waiting for the results. He goes to a special needs preschool in the meantime that is run by the school district and seems to be doing well. We love him so much and are doing our best to help him. Hopefully we are all growing stronger and better as we struggle together.

Halloween fun!

Here is my little Sheriff (David) and my little scarecrow (Wesley), both officially unqualified to do their jobs looking so cute and unintimidating. Luckily one of my friends came over with her camera and got some pic's for me.

Our Camera is broken so I am blogging some oldies, but goodies.

This is our little Jonny a couple of years ago. Isn't he cute? He found the Ovaltine and made his own special treat out of it.

Scary Elephant?

Jonny had a real love/hate relationship with this elephant. It has a motion sensor on it, so that it sounds like a real elephant when you touch it or move closely to it. Nate finally got Jonny to sit on the trunk while it was making it's noises. You can see that he was finally thrilled to be there. Jonny's little personality is so fun and spontaneous, he adds such dimension to our lives I just can't imagine him any other way!

Hogle Zoo!

We went to Hogle Zoo this summer and rode the train. Cousin Dallin came with us which made for double the fun at Hogle. David just loved having him with us, hopefully it was as fun for him.

Daddy and the boys

It is so fun that the boys love Daddy so much. He does such fun things with them. He is a great wrestling competitor of course because he is fine with losing. Then there are all his other skills like oragame, football, baseball, soccer caoch. Anything he teaches them automatically becomes cool, and they are all ears. Who could want for more when it comes to a Daddy?

Fun with cousin's

David's cousins from Washington State came to visit and we had the best time. We wish so much that they lived closer!

Wesley boy!!!

Monday, May 21, 2007

Well, thanks to my good friend Emily we now have our very own BLOG!!! I am not sure where to start. I should have made the time to set this up a long time ago. I'll start with some recent pic's of the boys. They are doing so well and growing so fast. Today David told me, "Mommy you have such good earsight." "I have really good eyesight, but my earsight isn't very good." I just giggled at how cute and clever he is. Jonny is learning he can get away with most things if it is followed by a gentle kiss on the arm or cheek and a sweet "I wuv you Mommy" I guess it is working a little too well on me. Little Wes has got the army crawl down and is as patient and sweet as a little baby can be. He is such a great eater, will eat any, and everything. We love being together in this precious little family unit. What blessings we have because of our sweet boys!

This is my first blog
